Last Stand | Baker Explosion
Filmed during the planting and harvesting of Sacred Ponca Corn along the proposed Keystone XL pipeline route and the historic Ponca Trail of Tears at the Tanderup Family Farm near Neligh, Nebraska. “Last Stand” is a song about a movement of Farmers, Natives, and Activists standing up to protect our land and water from corporate greed in rural Nebraska.

March to Give Keystone XL the Boot!
Hundreds of Nebraskans, along with Water Protectors and Pipeline Fighters from near and far, will come together in Lincoln on the eve of the week-long Keystone XL intervenor hearings at the Nebraska Public Service Commission, and march through the streets to send the message that Keystone XL is a threat to our land, water and climate, and not in the public interest. The march will begin at the Nebraska State Capitol (1445 K St., Lincoln, NE)

We are pleased to be a part of this event on Art Tanderups Farm hosted by The Tanderups, Bold Nebraska and the Ponca Tribe. Harvest starts at 1pm, music (Baker Explosion) and social hour 4:30-6:30pm This is the site of the Legendary No Keystone XL pipeline protest concert featuring Neil Young and Willie Nelson!
